Fear and Loathing in Sun Valley, Idaho, Part II
Reports from the Dubious front in Sun Valley, Idaho:
- Aaron and Brendan are on their way up via automobile. They left SF around 7:30am this morning and should get here around midnight tonight. I'm assuming they will be exhausted, so couches, green tea, brownies, and something hilarious I find on the internet between now and 10pm will be prepared for their pleasure.
Fear and Loathing in Sun Valley, Idaho
Well, we've arrived in Idaho for a short vacation of rest and relaxation before our shows this Friday and Saturday at Sun Valley's Boiler Room. We're expecting good times at the show, and since we've just arrived, we don't have many stories besides a "Motorcycle Jamboree" we experienced in Elko NV, also known as the USA's home of cowboy poetry.
On that note, Dubious needs to write more cowboy poetry.
The Covers Album Is On Its Way!
Well well well.
Your favorite questionable Rangers spent some time earlier this month in the recording studio laying down the basic tracks for their upcoming album of covers, appropriately titled "Butchers Vol.1."
A taster of what to expect:
"Heart of Glass" by Blondie
"The Killing Moon" by Echo & The Bunnymen (and featuring the amazing Sinatra-meets-Richie-Havens vocal stylings of guest artist Bhi Bhiman!)
"Psychokiller" by Talking Heads
"Five Years" by David Bowie
and a touching solo piano rendition of New Order's "True Faith"
