Double Header!
Dear Elite Rangers,
Hi Again. How are you? Well that's good to hear.
Your favorite indie-rock supercreeps have not one but two shows in San Francisco this week, on back-to-back nights!
On Wednesday, 1/28, we're playing at Kimo's, located at 1351 Polk Street. The show starts at 9 pm and we haven't the foggiest idea when we're on, so we'll keep you posted on that information; or if you're so inclined come for the whole show anyway.
Weapon Music Video Update
Hey folks. Well, the Weapon music video is deep into the production phase. Your Rangers have seen some of the green-screen footage, which looks cool as is; but add a living Asia meets India meets USA big city, fighting rams, flashing lights, who knows what else, and... well, it's gonna be a thing, that's fer true.
We're Alive! (And so are you!)
Hey folks. So where, you ask, has Dubious Ranger been? How about crafting their soon-to-be-canonized album “Uneasy Truce At The Watering Hole” at John Vanderslice’s Tiny Telephone studio under highway 101. Across from a secret robot factory. Yeah. Uh huh. Anyway the first song that’s been mixed is called “Paganini”. You can hear it on this site at www.dubiousranger.com/paganini; it’s also on our myspace and facebook pages. It’s a song about fascism, virtuosity, and saxophones. In that order. If you can tell us exactly and succinctly what it sounds like, you win a prize. Enjoy.
