It is with a tear in our eye and a gryphon on our left shoulder that we announce that Dubious Ranger will be going on indefinite hiatus after this month. It's been a great run, and we are forever thankful for the support and love you've given us over the last three years.

In celebration of the music we've made and the times we've had together, we will be hosting a big farewell show and party this Friday, January 22, at The Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco, with our friends As A People and Mass Fiction, along with some special guests!

Dubious Ranger is getting together with Reddit, the internet's nerdiest, most intelligent forum and idea-sharing group (imagine a much smarter Digg) to rock the ghosts from your body this Halloween, Oct 31. Show is at the Connecticut Yankee, one block from Bottom Of The Hill. And here's the kicker: if you say "I read it on Reddit" at the door, you get in free and there's an open bar all night. This will be hands down one of the best Halloween parties in San Francisco this year... don't miss it.

Ultimate Frisbee, once a treasured past-time for stoned hippies and the funemployed, has matured into a powerhouse sport of graceful agility, professional athleticism, and the occasional unusually dexterous stoned hippie.
